


Wireless Access
Southern Wesleyan University offers wireless Internet to enrolled students, and special guests upon request, throughout our main campus in Central and at the learning centers in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and North Augusta.
Locations in Central include Brower, Gibson, Newby classroom buildings, University Dining Commons, Rickman Library, Jennings Campus Life Center, and Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center. Residence students are served by high-speed Internet connections using an ethernet port in each room.
In order to connect to SWU wireless network, your computer must be equipped with a wireless card or adaptor, or have integrated wireless capability. Wireless access points are B & G compatible. Antivirus, with current virus definitions is required. Wireless users must have a valid network login and must accept our clean access policy key. Wireless users at our learning centers in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and North Augusta must also enter a password that is available from the site staff.
