Each summer, Southern Wesleyan University’s campus in Central, S.C., becomes a “global village” as teams from around the world arrive to compete in the Big League World Series. Southern Wesleyan is housing and feeding more than 200 international players as they compete in the series, being played through Aug. 3 at J.B. “Red” Owens Sports Complex in Easley, S.C.
