Grad to teach in Namibia
Stephanie Sestito, a recent graduate of Southern Wesleyan University, will travel to Namibia later this summer to start a 27-month assignment as a science teacher.
She was invited by the Peace Corps, which is responding to a shortage of qualified math and science teachers and working to counteract the West African nation’s 40 percent dropout rate. Sestito graduated in May with a bachelor of science degree in biology. Follow her blog for details.
