High school choral clinic at SWU

Southern Wesleyan University music professor Don Campbell directs a chorus of Upstate high school students on the stage of Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center. Southern Wesleyan's Fine Arts Division hosted the Upper Region Honor Choir Clinic Jan. 22 and 23 on the university's campus in Central.
"Hosting events such as this has been a dream for us, and is finally possible with our wonderful new facility," said division chair Jane Dill. Campbell and Dill worked with more than 200 high school choral students from 13 different Upstate high schools. The clinic culminated in a concert Jan. 23 at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center.
