Mobile Veteran’s Center visits Southern Wesleyan in Columbia

Billy Abrams, right, a Vietnam veteran, visited the mobile Veteran’s Center when it stopped by Southern Wesleyan University in Columbia Sept. 28. Veterans Administration representatives Anthony Hodges, left, and Sonya Johnson, middle, were on hand to offer counseling to veterans and their dependents. Tammie Powell, regional director of Southern Wesleyan’s Columbia location, is pleased that the Veterans Administration could play a part in providing these important services to those who have served in the armed forces. Southern Wesleyan University is located in Pinnacle Point, off I-77 near Farrow Road.
