Ravi Zacharias, Internationally-Known Author, Speaker Coming to Clemson March 8

    Ravi Zacharias, a Christian apologist who has spoken to audiences worldwide, will be at Littlejohn Coliseum at Clemson University March 8 to explore the issue of intolerance, a charge leveled against Christians in a society where skepticism and humanism are celebrated as virtues.

    Southern Wesleyan University is the venue sponsor for this event, and will be giving away an iPad 2 as part of the pre-event program. Other sponsors include Crosspoint Church, Clemson Presbyterian Church, East Clemson Baptist Church, First Baptist Pickens and the South Carolina Baptist Convention.     The event will also feature a live moderated audience question and answer session with Zacharias and John Njoroge, a member of the speaking team at Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, based in Atlanta.

    Zacharias has appeared at numerous universities, including Harvard, Princeton and Oxford. He has authored several books, including “Jesus Among Other Gods,” “Beyond Opinion” and “Can Man Live Without God?” His weekly radio program, “Let My People Think,” is aired on more than 1,700 outlets worldwide and his weekday program, “Just Thinking,” on more than 400.
