Southern Wesleyan celebrates musical past with “SWUsical”
Celebrating more than 20 years of musical theatre at Southern Wesleyan University, "SWUsical" promises to delight audiences as they reminisce.
Past performers and directors will be recognized throughout the show with video clips and pictures. Memorabilia recognizing alumni of past shows will also be on display.
The musical will be presented March 19-21 at 7:30 p.m. each night at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center on the university's campus in Central.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under age 12.
Call (864) 644-5191 for tickets and details. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. SWU faculty, staff and students enter free with valid ID, but tickets must be reserved. Tickets will also be available at the door.
A special dinner and theatre combination ticket ($20 each) is available for the Saturday, March 21 performance. Dinner seating begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. For combination dinner/theatre tickets, please call 864-644-5385.
