Southern Wesleyan is ‘home’ for international teams
“Home away from home” for Big League World Series teams is Southern Wesleyan University, housing baseball players from across the nation and around the world. For the tenth year, Southern Wesleyan’s campus in Central, S.C., serves as the athlete’s village, welcoming more than 200 players in 11 teams as they compete in the series, held at nearby J.B. “Red” Owens Sports Complex in Easley. The Big League World Series takes place through Aug. 4.
