SWUper Saturday benefits golf facility

LPGA player Heather Bowie Young shared golf tips at Southern Wesleyan University’s new driving range Sept. 29, part of SWUper Saturday, an event to benefit the facility’s construction.
Supporters and members of the men’s and women’s golf teams were on hand for the SWUper Saturday, which included lunch and an afternoon of golf with Young on the course at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
Young competed at Arizona State and the University of Texas where she won two NCAA team championships and an individual national championship. Her sister Megan is married to Brad Ballentine, son of Central businessman Bobby Ballentine.
