The Spirit matters at SWU

    Jeremy Kingsley uses an ordinary towel as a symbol of Christ's definition of greatness and as a visual reference to washing the disciples' feet. Kingsley spoke during Spiritual Emphasis Week, Sept. 10-15, at Southern Wesleyan University.

    Kingsley has spoken to thousands of people throughout the U.S. and in other countries. Southern Wesleyan marks the start of each semester with a special spiritual emphasis. Also featured was musical worship led by the University Singers and The Difference, one of SWU's ministry teams.

    Palmer Dill of  The Difference, a SWU worship team, ministers in song during Spiritual Emphasis Week, Sept. 10-15, at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. Dill is a religion major from Central. Southern Wesleyan marks the start of each semester with a special spiritual emphasis. Students, faculty and staff also took part in a prayer walk across the campus and heard from speaker Jeremy Kingsley of Columbia, S.C., who has spoken to thousands across the nation and in various countries.
