PROFILE:

“I am passionate about teaching...it is definitely my calling. However, my journey to God's call for me in this life was characterized by many twists and turns on the road to finding my purpose. I completed high school in three years due to my being a victim of abuse and bullying. I went on to drop out of college three times before completing a secretarial degree at a business college. My professional experience includes work as a corporate trainer, a sales representative for a retail distribution center, a job developer for a vocational center and the director of career services for a university in upstate New York. Early in my professional career, I went back to college as a non-traditional student, working all day and attending classes in the evening. This was the best decision that I ever made! I began teaching as a part-time instructor for a business school 18 years ago and now I am blessed to be teaching as a full-time professor for SWU. I enjoy bike riding, hiking, collecting antiques and listening to people's stories. Jesus taught through parables and I teach through stories!”
