The mission of the School of Education is to prepare men and women to become Christian educators by fostering scholarship and a Christian ethic of care in the image and nature of Jesus so as to produce teachers who are leaders and world changers with the education profession.

Beasley is Pickens County teacher of the yearSheila Beasley, an education graduate, was named 2010-11 School District of Pickens County Teacher of the Year. Beasley is a second-grade teacher at East End Elementary in Easley, S.C. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in education in 1998 and her master’s degree in education in 2003. Beasley was announced as the winner during a district-wide kickoff celebration for the school year. She is starting her seventh year at East End. Prior to that, she taught first-grade at the school for six years. Beasley has also served as an administrative assistant at the Pickens County School District office and was secretary to the principal at Easley High School. |
