Honors Program - Research Grants Obtained by Students and Faculty


This area describes research grants that have been obtained by our students and faculty working collaboratively.

 
2011-2012, Stephanie Sestito and Dr. Susan Rouse received $3070 to research Localization of Central Nervous System Lesions in Rats Infected with Toxoplasma gondii in Association with Behavioral Abnormalities.
2010-2011, David Fipps and Dr. Susan Rouse received $2880 to research Evaluation of Central Nervous System Invasion by Fatty Acid Synthesis Mutant Trypanosomes as Compare to Wildtype Trypanosomes.
Josh Dew and Dr. Paul Jordan received approximately $3,000 to research a Pinewood Derby Computer Automation System.
 
2009-2010, Brian Daniels and Dr. Susan Rouse received $3070 to research Parasitic Hippocampal lesions and Spatial Memory Loss in Rats Due to Latent Toxoplasmosis.
 



2006-2007, Lance Ingle, Sam Stack and Dr. Paul Jordan received approximately $3,000 to research a Computer in a Flash.

 2005-2006, Rebecca Rickard and Dr. Steve Hayduk received a grant for $1848 to research Are There Correlations Between Academic Success, Extra-curricular Participation, and Self-esteem in Third Graders in a Rural Community.

 2003-2004, Rupal Shah and Dr. Walt Sinnamon received approximately $3,000 to research The Effects of Eating Cheerios on the Total Cholesterol and HDL Human Plasma Levels
