Step
One:
Federal
Stafford Entrance Counseling
All Students are required to complete the counseling session. Simply click on
the link above and follow the instructions. The Financial Aid office will be
notified electronically that you have fulfilled this important requirement.
Failure to complete this session will delay your loan funds.
(Upon completion, simply close the browser page to return to step two.)
Step Two:
Federal
Stafford Loan
By clicking on one of the links below you will be directed to complete your
Master Promissory Note (MPN) on-line. You are encouraged to sign your MPN electronically
using one of the electronic signature options available. If you prefer to use another lender, contact that lender directly to complete a Master Promissory
Note (MPN).
Federal
PLUS Loan
The Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) is a low interest loan available
to the parents of a dependent student. By clicking on one of the links below
you will be directed to apply and once approved complete your PLUS Master Promissory
Note (PMPN). You are encouraged to sign your PMPN electronically using one of
the electronic signature options available. If you prefer to use another lender, contact that lender directly to complete a PLUS Master Promissory
Note (PMPN).
By completing
your MPN or PMPN, the Financial Aid Office at Southern Wesleyan University will
be notified electronically of your decision to accept a Federal Stafford or
PLUS as part of your aid package.
