Freshman Application Procedures

• You must submit your completed application with a $25 application fee (non-refundable)
• You must also submit your official high school transcript AND your official SAT or ACT test score

Transfer Application Procedures

• You must submit your completed application with a $25 application fee (non-refundable)
• You must also submit the official transcripts of academic work from all colleges/universities you have attended  

Procedures for Incoming Freshmen and Transfer Students after Acceptance

• Southern Wesleyan University physical examination form
• Housing form and $200 (U.S. Dollars) security deposit for resident students only
• Intent to Enroll form and $300 (U.S. Dollars) tuition deposit
• Registration to attend academic orientation

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• GPA 2.0 or ranking in upper half of graduating class at time of acceptance
• Composite SAT 860 or ACT 18
• Must obtain an acceptable TOEFL if English is not primary language

Application Procedures

• Completed application with $25 (U.S. Dollars) application fee (non-refundable) - 2 recent photographs (optional)
• Official transcript in English or with translation
• Official SAT or ACT test score
• Official TOEFL score of 500 (paper test) and 173 (computer test) if English is not primary language
• Southern Wesleyan University physical examination form
• Housing form and $200 (U.S. Dollars) security deposit
• Declaration of finances form - listing scholarships and grants

Acceptance Procedure

• Deposit equal to first year's expenses
• Report to American Consulate and submit I-20
• After obtaining student visa, arrive at school no later than appointed date
• Show proof of health insurance to Business Office
• Registration to attend academic orientation
