Future healthcare professional finds caring environment at SWU
Growing up going to Wesleyan camps, Stephanie Guerra learned about Southern Wesleyan University from an early age.
“We’ve always looked up to the ministry teams from SWU,” Stephanie said.
Wanting to pursue a career in medicine and missions, Stephanie chose to come to SWU and major in biology.
“I really liked the campus environment,” she said, adding that, as a student, she felt comfortable about approaching her professors for advice.
“The best thing about being at SWU is how I got to know the professors and how well they knew me.”
Being the captain of the cheerleading team at SWU, Stephanie is proud of her team’s winning second place on CCA Christian Cheer Nationals.
“Four years of college life at SWU has gone by so fast,” Stephanie said. “I suggest that everyone take advantage of their time at SWU, to grow in Christian faith and academics, to get involved and to enjoy the experience.”
