Business Administration
Bogota, Colombia
Daniel Restrepo came to Southern Wesleyan University on a soccer scholarship.
Before Daniel decided to come to Southern Wesleyan, his soccer coach admitted that the university is smaller, but emphasized, “you have everything you need here.”
Daniel loves soccer, and since coming to SWU, he’s made an exciting discovery.
“God opened SWU’s door for me. He sent me here and I am sure He has a purpose,” Daniel said.
During the time at SWU, Daniel has been impressed by how SWU cares for each student in all aspects of life — through academics, athletics, and social life.
“I enjoy how professors know you and impact you. My coach has been very influential to me, too. He has become a friend,” Daniel added.
Daniel also feels he is completely involved at SWU by serving as a resident assistant.
Halfway through his degree program, Daniel has felt called to work with people wherever God sends him in the human resource management field.
“SWU is more than a regular school. It is a place where God is present and life becomes real.”
