I highly recommend the program, because it is a program that cares about you, and prepares you for the professional world. You are surrounded by professionals who have been in the work force and have a working knowledge of what you aspire to do. More importantly, the student body wants to learn and prepare for the professional world. When you are around goal-oriented students who are competitive, it makes a better you and a better student.
Relevance.My degree program has certainly prepared me for my current position as HR Manager at Athletics at a major university. I say this because there were just so many practical applications for a HR Manager position. There are many days in my current job that I reflect on some lectures or projects in my courses at SWU and say, "Oh yeah.... we talked about that in class!"
