Spiritual and Intellectual growth

 “I was introduced to SWU at a college fair and felt God had already prepared the way. I know God has a purpose for my life and Southern Wesleyan University is allowing me to grow more spiritually as well as intellectually, said LaShae Posey, a senior who transferred here to major in Biology (pre-med).

God is the foundation

LaShae sees Southern Wesleyan University not only as a university campus, but a community that is filled with God’s love. She appreciates the faculty of SWU for their love and support. I am a transfer student majoring in biology and my goal is to become a pediatrician.

“I have been in the ministry for five years where I serve as an associate minister at my church. SWU has given me the opportunity to make a difference for God,” said LaShae, adding that she enjoys the freedom to worship and finds SWU’s weekly chapels a constant source of encouragement.
