Greenville student’s enthusiasm
is contagious

Morgan

Wherever she goes, Jenna Beth Morgan is an enthusiastic promoter of Southern Wesleyan University.

After graduating from high school, Morgan worked for a while at an area restaurant, then worked at a Greenville hospital. While there, a couple of co-workers told her they were enrolled in the business program at Southern Wesleyan’s Greenville location.

“I checked it out and was hooked from the beginning,” Morgan said.
When she started at Southern Wesleyan to work on her bachelor of science degree in business management, Morgan soon discovered helpful, caring professors, as well as staff and classmates who gave her the feeling of being part of a family. She was particularly impressed by how her professors started each class on a spiritual note.

“One thing that has been such a blessing is the way the professors pray and do devotionals and prayer requests before every class,” she said. “That just blew my mind. I can go to college and give a prayer request, pray for people and do Bible study before class starts. It’s a great way to start the class.”

Her English professor, Rosina Marini, made a huge impact on her.
“I was so scared of English but not only did she take my fear away, but she taught me so much that has been used in every class so far,” Morgan said.

She never hesitates to strike up a conversation with a co-worker or friend about her degree program. She also places Southern Wesleyan brochures and Focus magazines in the waiting areas of Hillcrest Memorial Hospital, where she works as an anesthesia technician.

“I have a co-worker in another department starting classes at Southern Wesleyan in December. She wants to go back to school and get her bachelor’s degree. I told her everything I know about Southern Wesleyan University,” said Morgan, thrilled that her enthusiasm is being caught by others.
