Southern Wesleyan hosts career workshop

Dr. Russ Merritt, regional director of Southern Wesleyan University in North Augusta, welcomed participants during a free career workshop, held Feb. 20 at the university’s location at 802 East Martintown Road.
Yvonne Duckett, Southern Wesleyan’s director of career services, conducted the workshop, which included helpful tips for job seekers. Workshop participants learned about qualities recruiters are seeking among job candidates. They also received information on how to stand out in a job interview.
