Adult & Graduate Studies 

At Southern Wesleyan, we understand the needs and commitments of working adults.  Our Adult and Graduate Studies programs are specifically designed to allow you to earn an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree while still meeting your personal and professional responsibilities. Study at our campus in Central, or attend close to home at our learning centers located in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville or North Augusta. Classes are also offered at Greenwood and Spartanburg.

 AGS programs offer:

Associate of Arts in General Studies 

The Associate of Arts in General Studies degree program is a basic curriculum, which when completed can prepare the adult learner for the Bachelor of Science in Human Services or the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with Teacher Certification component.  More >>

Associate of Science in Business

A key benefit of the Adult and Graduate Studies program is that there is a place for everyone!Because of multiple entry-level possibilities, the Associate of Science in Business curriculum can accommodate someone with no previous college credits as easily as someone with a number of transfer hours. More >>

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is designed to provide an effective balance of theory and practical application, the curriculum promotes development in the areas of decision-making, business, communications and quantitative analysis. Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education

The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with Teacher Certification degree program includes a curriculum that supports the attainment of the South Carolina Initial Teaching Certificate by the teacher candidate. The elementary education major is designed in accordance with guidelines established by the South Carolina State Department of Education. The theme statement of the School of Education emphasizes the preparation of “educators who demonstrate scholarship within a Christian ethic of care.” More >>

Bachelor of Science in Human Services 

The Human Services degree is for people interested in working with or helping others (e.g., the homeless, people with disabilities, children or adolescents) in community organizations (e.g., halfway houses, non-profit or non-governmental organizations, social services or mental health agencies.)   More >>

Bachelor of Science in Management 

The Bachelor of Science in Management program is designed to promote the knowledge and skills essential for the management of human resources in private and public organizations. The curriculum provides a comprehensive, yet practical education in the social and management sciences and stresses the areas of leadership training, planning, budgeting, evaluation, organizational development and techniques of business research.  More >>

The Master of Business Administration program is designed to develop and enhance the management and analytical skills necessary for effectiveness in public and private institutions. Master of Education

The Master of Education program is designed to encourage the development of the professional educator. The program concentrates on an educational framework that supports the advancement, application and integration of relevant theory and practice within the classroom. The Master of Science in Management degree program is designed to develop and enhance the management skills necessary to function effectively within business, industry and a variety of organizations.
