"The money from this annual golf tournament directly benefits students at Southern Wesleyan University by providing scholarships, as well as academic and program support," Mary Costello, executive director for development at SWU, said.

The tournament is named for Dr. Paul Wood, a psychologist and professor emeritus at Southern Wesleyan University.

First Citizens was the title Sponsor; Corporate Sponsors were Aramark, Palmetto Insurance, The Parkette and Ram Technologies. The post-tournament meal was provided by The Parkette, of Pickens, SC.
