Checking out progress on track and soccer facility

After numerous delays brought on by a rainy summer, construction work moved into high gear as concrete was poured, fencing installed and grass was put into place at the complex, located near the entrance to Southern Wesleyan University’s campus in Central. Construction also began on the hammer throw area adjacent to the track. Future phases will include installation of lighting, grandstands and locker room facilities.
