A film crew with Moore Huntley Productions visited Southern Wesleyan University Sept. 24 to interview Michael Keaton, an adjunct history professor at the university for a History Channel documentary.

Post-Civil War folk hero Lewis Redmond will be the focus of part of a documentary to air on the History Channel. Keaton told the story of the life of his great-great grandfather, Lewis Redmond, who was a colorful character in the history of the Upstate region. The filming was at the university’s Eagle’s Rest conference center. Right, Keaton, at right, is interviewed by David Moore Huntley, center, as the film crew prepares to record part of the two-hour documentary about the Appalachian Mountains.
