Johns named to NCCAA post

    07.13.12 | Athletics Success Stories: Media Communication

    Johns, who will graduate from Southern Wesleyan University’s Media Communication degree program this December, is also a student-athlete playing on the Lady Warriors Soccer Team. Johns interned at NCCAA this past spring, assisting with the production of fundraising videos. She was also President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for several semesters, leading other student-athletes on Southern Wesleyan’s campus.

    In her new job, Johns will oversee the Student-Athlete of the Week program and the awards and recognition program. She will also work in partnership with Sports Information Directors at NCCAA member institutions to provide updated and accurate press releases. She will also develop videos for the new NCCAA website, NCCAA fundraising events GP4L (Game Plan 4 Life) character presentations and new member recruitment.
