    Human trafficking experts from across the nation came to Southern Wesleyan University for “Stand Against Trafficking,” a conference held Oct. 14-16 on its campus in Central. Participants included Martha Blackburn, general director of Wesleyan Women for The Wesleyan Church and Sgt. Michael Hildebrand is the point man for human trafficking investigations for the Greenville County Sheriff’s Department and conducts training on the topic across the Southeast. Southern Wesleyan University partnered with First Wesleyan Church/ALIVE and the S.C. District of The Wesleyan Church to host the conference.
