SWU chapel with Clayton King
Clayton King of Clayton King Ministries spoke in a chapel service Oct. 20 at Southern Wesleyan University in Central.
Referring to the Bible verse John 8:32, “You will know the truth and the truth will set you free,” King pointed out the difference between just “knowing” the truth and “doing” the truth. Following King’s message, 28 individuals made decisions to follow Christ. King was originally scheduled for Spiritual Emphasis chapels earlier in the semester, which were postponed due to a power outage caused by Hurricane Irma's winds.
