SWU honors Lynn for service

Staff, faculty and friends recognized Southern Wesleyan University Campus Safety Officer Larry Lynn at his retirement drop-in Aug. 4. Brad Bowen, SWU director of campus security, presented Lynn with a plaque honoring his 15 years of dedicated service to the university. He was also recognized by SWU administration members and many other employees who came to wish him well.
“Larry Lynn was an excellent employee who cared both for the students at SWU and the campus facilities. He was a loyal and faithful officer and his consistency will be missed by the SWU community,” said Dr. Joe Brockinton, the university’s vice president for student life.
