Warrior Basketball Teams to Play at NBA Arena

    The Southern Wesleyan University women's and men's basketball teams will be playing at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 21, 2013, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

    Time Warner Cable Arena is home to the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats.

    "We are excited to have this opportunity to have our student-athletes play in a NBA arena," commented SWU Director of Athletics Chris Williams.

    "This is going to be a great event for our university community as a whole," Williams said.

    Ticket prices for the game are $25 each, which is the price for three basketball games. This includes the Bobcats game against the Houston Rockets at 2 p.m. The Warriors will follow the NBA game, playing conference opponent Southern Polytechnic State University at 5 p.m. (Women) and 7 p.m. (Men).
