Southern Wesleyan University students, faculty and staff volunteers worked on various beautification projects on campus as an Earth Day project. The work day was spearheaded by student Keonna Palmer and organized by the university’s Order of Sigma Delta. Palmer is a sophomore from Easley and a double major in Media Communication and Human Services. Members of the university’s grounds crew assisted in the effort. Volunteers were all over the campus in Central planting flowers, picking up trash and doing general cleanup while learning how to be good stewards of God’s creation.
