ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT-MARKETING AND ENROLLMENT DEVELOPMENT
Responsibilities
The Associate Vice President reports directly to the Vice President for Administration and Program Operations. The Associate Vice President has responsibility for the vision, strategy and implementation of all enrollment-oriented initiatives and service systems. This individual is responsible for the direct leadership and development of traditional and non-traditional enrollment strategies and will work collaboratively with other enrollment-related offices and departments. The successful candidate must be familiar with the market challenges of higher education including highly competitive non-traditional programming, and have a demonstrated knowledge of enrollment strategies, market and demographic research, prospect management, and experience with the management of advertising, media and electronic strategies. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator and possess a competitive drive to achieve the enrollment goals of the university based on an integrated team approach.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in marketing, business or a related field is preferred with training and/or successful executive-level leadership experience within higher education and/or a comparable field such as business, marketing, advertising or sales management. Must possess excellent communication and management skills with proven ability to relate and work effectively with people and develop a team approach to planning and coordination of programs and personnel.
