ENROLLMENT SERVICES COORDINATOR – Columbia, SC

Reporting to the Regional Director – Columbia Learning Center, the Enrollment Services Coordinator (ESC) will coordinate the admissions process for all assigned AGS applicants to facilitate the university’s enrollment of qualified students while maintaining a superior level of customer service. Position available immediately.

Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include: • Will help to maximize the enrollment of qualified applicants within the University’s AGS degree programs • Serves as primary point-of-contact for applicants, assisting them with resources available through other university departments • Maintains regular contact with each assigned applicant to address any issues that might delay or prevent enrollment • Provides the applicant with regular notification regarding any outstanding application materials • Compiles and prepares completed application packets for presentation to admissions committee.

Requirements

    College degree preferred; prior work experience in customer service or sales position desired. In addition, seeking candidates with the following skills and/or experience: • Ability to provide individual advising that is professional and accurate; familiar with issues and procedures related to transfer credits, degree plans, financial aid, registration, billing and payments, and graduation • Excellent communicator via phone and e-mail; professional presentation skills and effective communicator to individuals and groups • Results-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively • Able to develop effective working relationships with all related university departments • Ability to accurately compile and present critical enrollment management data • Experience and or knowledgeable of higher education marketing; ability to conduct research independently to resolve issues and obtain accurate information • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Detail oriented, organized, entrepreneurial and creative, self-managing, and able to meet stringent deadlines while managing multiple projects; should also possess the communication and relational abilities required to succeed within a team environment.

This is a permanent, full-time, non-exempt position. Salary Level III: $26,307/year with benefits. Work hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION. (Revised posting September 21, 2010)
