Online Database Help

If you are having difficulty with accessing or using the online databases, please try the following:

Accessing EBSCOhost databases

The user ID and password are not your SWU network ID and password.  Please refer to your orange sheet, log on to MyCampus > Academics > Library > EBSCOhost Login Information, or call the library at 1-800-289-1292, ext. 5062.

If your assignment or module refers you to EBSCOhost to seek a specific article, but no database name is given beyond that, go to the Online Databases by Title link at the left of your screen and select Academic Search Premier.  If this does not work, call the library at 1-800-289-1292, ext. 5062.

If your assignment or module refers you to EBSCOhost and then to a particular database, go to the Online Databases by Title link at the left of your screen and select the appropriate database.

Accessing InfoTrac databases

The user ID is your SWU student ID number.  If you entered the 6-digit number and still cannot access the databases, call the library at 1-800-289-1292, ext. 5062.

If your assignment or module refers you to InfoTrac to seek a specific article, but no database name is given beyond that, go to the Online Databases by Title link at the left of your screen and select Expanded Academic ASAP or Academic OneFile.  If this does not work, call the library at 1-800-289-1292, ext. 5062.

If your assignment or module refers you to InfoTrac and then to a particular database, go to the Online Databases by Title link at the left of your screen and select the appropriate database.

Passwords for MyCampus are handled by the Information Technology Department.  Their phone number is 1-800-289-1292, ext. 5050.
