Request a book SWU doesn't own.
Some databases index books and book chapters.

- Can't connect to a NetLibrary e-book through SWUcat? Go directly to NetLibrary.com and search by the title you found on SWUcat.
- Can AGS students borrow books from SWU's Library? Yes! Use the request link to complete and interlibrary loan form and indicate that SWU owns the book you want.
- When can we start using PASCAL Delivers to get books from the statewide catalog? Hopefully in September. Until then, use the request link.
Finding Books
SWUcat
This is the catalog for SWU's Rickman Library. In it you will find information about all of the print books (and other resources) in our collection, as well as links for our e-book collection from NetLibrary. One note -- if you cannot get the e-books through the catalog, you may need to go directly to NetLibrary.
NetLibrary E-Books
SWU now subscribes to at least 700 e-books in education, business, criminal justice, and religion. You must access NetLibrary while on campus or at an AGS site. After you create your own account (see upper right of screen), you should be able to access our NetLibrary collection from home.
PASCALcat
South Carolina institutions have developed a shared catalog that includes Clemson and USC's collections, as well as many other colleges and universities. By this fall students, faculty, and staff will be able to request books through this catalog, and they will be delivered to the Rickman Library for pick up (or for AGS students away from Central, will be shipped to you). Until then, feel free to use the catalog and submit an interlibrary loan request for books you want.
