In an effort to broaden career exploration programs locally, career assessment services are being provided at no charge to Southern Wesleyan University students. The Kuder Career Planning System, a premier online career exploration instrument, will be available to all students this year. It is brief, user-friendly, and its results, based on extensive research, are highly reliable. Students who use the Kuder Career Planning System improve self-understanding and goal development which can lead to improved student retention and success rates. Additionally, after completing the assessments and using the system, students are better prepared for choosing college majors.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is the most used personality assessment in the world. MBTI has a record of reliability spanning more than 50 years. It offers the student an understanding of individual differences and how they apply to the ways people think, communicate, and interact. These are very important as students prepare for life after Southern Wesleyan University. The MBTI with Career Report used at Southern Wesleyan will help students:
