Jingle bells

Southern Wesleyan University employees have volunteered to drum up holiday donations for the Salvation Army in front of the Wal-Mart Superstore in Central. Right, Dr. Paul Wood, faculty emeritus with the university’s Social Sciences Department, rings a bell by the Salvation Army kettle. The Southern Wesleyan University crew has taken on six days of fund-raising at the store. In the United States, The Salvation Army annually aids more than 5 million people at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
