Prowling around the Panthers

Southern Wesleyan University junior Gina Gossett of Chesnee tours the sports facilities at Bank One Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. Gossett and Coach Dave Seamans, assistant professor of physical education at the university, spent the day with the Carolina Panthers as guests of WSPA – News Channel 7. Gossett and Seamans visited the Carolina Panthers’ practice facilities, as well as the stadium, watched a practice session and had an autograph session. The attendees were treated to a luncheon with guest speakers Carolina Panthers President Mark Richardson and the voice of the Carolina Panthers Bill Rosinski. The group then toured the athletic facilities. Gossett is a junior at Southern Wesleyan University, majoring in physical education with a minor in recreation. She is enrolled in Sport and Recreation Facilities Management, a course that is part of the recreation and sport management program at Southern Wesleyan.
