International visitors

Members of the Latin America team competing in the Big League World Series surf the Internet at Southern Wesleyan University in the lobby of Stuart-Bennett Hall, the dormitory that houses 180 players and 20 coaches from all over the world during the week-long tournament. The computer-savvy players above are from Venezuela. From left are Harwim Sanchez, Simon Liemdo and Luis Torres. Southern Wesleyan serves as the athletes’ village during the event, providing meals, snacks, housing, practice fields and recreational opportunities for the players.
