Up, up and away
Southern Wesleyan University’s homecoming and centennial celebration Oct. 29 featured a parade of university athletes who released balloons as part of opening ceremonies. University representatives dedicated the new improvements to Connor Baseball Field and thanked the towns of Central and Clemson for their partnership in improving the athletic venue. Other homecoming events included athletic games, a classic car show, decade reunions, a crafts fair, campus tours and the first inductees into the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
