SWU to hold annual Jazz Invitational

Southern Wesleyan University’s fifth annual Jazz Invitational will be Feb. 24 on the university’s main campus in Central.

The music begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Lowell E. Jennings Campus Life Center. Bands from around the Upstate will perform three selections each in a non-competitive environment. One of the highlights will be the All-Star Directors Combo made up of the directors from each participating school.

This year, the schools scheduled to attend are:

• D.W. Daniel High School,
• Liberty High School,
• Pendleton High School,
• Providence Christian Academy.
• Seneca High School,
• Southern Wesleyan University,
• Spartanburg High School,
• T.L. Hanna High School,
• Walhalla High School,
• Westside High School and
• Wren High School.
