Caterpillar Tour

Southern Wesleyan University students toured the Greenville facility of Caterpillar, a company that manufactures internal combustion engines. The students are pursuing master’s degrees in business administration, attending the university’s campus in Greenville. SWU student Dan McKelvey, a Caterpillar employee, conducted the class tour. The tour of the facility enabled the class to observe the assembly of engines, giving a real-life perspective of assembly-line operations that could not be gained from classrooms and textbooks.
