Southern Area Ministers’ Conference at SWU

Rev. John Adams (left) and Dan Seaborn were among the featured speakers at the 2008 Southern Area Ministers’ Conference, held Feb. 11-12 at the Central campus of Southern Wesleyan University.

Adams is senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Easley, S.C. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Furman University and has published several articles and book reviews and has contributed to Sunday School lesson commentaries. Adams is currently president of the South Carolina Baptist Historical Society.

Seaborn is the founder of Winning at Home, Inc., an organization that produces media resources and hosts special events to develop marriages and families. He has also served as a pastor, authored seven books and made numerous appearances on western Michigan television and national radio. When he was a pastor in Michigan, Seaborn and his youth group originated the popular W.W.J.D. bracelet. Seaborn is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan.
