Bolt, Mays present to Southern Sociological Society
| Two Social Science majors, Melissa Bolt, left, and Brittany Mays, right, presented the results of their honors projects at the Southern Sociological Society meeting in Atlanta, April 22 to 24. Bolt's project, "Does Religion Deter Pornography?" was paired with a faculty member from Fayetteville State – both projects used the General Social Survey in their analyses. Mays, whose project is titled "The Social Ecology of Sex Crimes," was part of a panel discussing the work of faculty and graduate students from Louisiana State University and Virginia Tech in the area of criminology. | ![]() |
