Drs. Lyon and Spittal with student

Sharing a message of hope

Dr. Jo Anne Lyon, general superintendent of The Wesleyan Church and founder of World Hope International, shares conversation with Southern Wesleyan University student Ryan Seibert, right, as University President David Spittal looks on. Lyon addressed the university’s chapel attendees on Oct. 28 at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, sharing an update on the battle against human trafficking around the world. She said that God is speaking to a world he longs to touch and redeem, adding that tens of thousands of children have been saved from human trafficking. Seibert, an English major, recently traveled to Cambodia on a trip sponsored by Christ Wesleyan Church in his hometown of Milton, Pa.
