Comedy of royal proportions coming to Southern Wesleyan University

Southern Wesleyan University welcomes the Tarradiddle Players back for “The Commedia Princess and the Pea.”

Critically acclaimed as a funny, fast-paced show full of slapstick comedy, “Commedia Princess and the Pea” will take place at Southern Wesleyan University in Central Monday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center.

The play is about a lonely prince who is seeking someone to marry. Potential princesses must first get past his mother, the queen, and her long list of tests.

The Taradiddle Players are the resident touring company of Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, presenting fairy tales in the style of the Italian Commedia dell’arte.

Admission is $5 and is free for children under 12. For tickets or details, call (864) 644-5416 or go to swu.edu.
