Houke is a Certified Public Accountant and has been actively involved in teaching and preparing personal income taxes since 2000. Her doctoral dissertation is an international study that compares accounting misstatements reported by firms between North America (USA, Canada), The European Union (EU), the Asian Pacific (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China) Countries and all other Countries.  Her diverse background in private companies and public service includes seven years as a business consultant /facilitator specializing in helping clients improve the quality of their decision making information.
