Southern Wesleyan University students Jeremiah Crosby, center, and Emily Cox sing an arrangement of "The Christmas Song," accompanied by the SWU Jazz Ensemble, directed by Greg Day, during "Sounds of the Season" Dec. 1 at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center. Crosby is a junior from Anderson, S.C., majoring in music, and Cox is a junior from Williamston, S.C., majoring in music education. The concert was one of several holiday events taking place on the university's campus in Central. In observance of Christmas, the university will close its offices at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, 2010.
