Musical revue features Aesop’s fables
CENTRAL,
S.C. -- The Tarradiddle Players will bring Aesop’s
most popular fables to life with Broadway flair in their
performance of “Don’t Count Your Chickens
Until They Cry Wolf.”
The show, part of Southern Wesleyan University’s
Fine Arts Series, will be Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the
university’s campus in Central. The performance
will be in Folger Auditorium on Wesleyan Drive. Admission
is free.
With lively songs and absorbing characterizations, the
Tarradiddle Players bring new life to these ancient stories.
The fables include “The Tortoise and the Hare,”
“The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothes,” “Belling
the Cat,” “The Lion and the Mouse” and
“The Ant and the Grasshopper.”
