SWU Housing FAQ's When do I sign up for SWU housing? After you are accepted to the university, you will be sent a housing application. You may also download a housing application by clicking SWU Housing Form. How much does it cost to live in SWU housing? The 2007-2008 rates per semester are:
You should anticipate a 3% - 5% increase each year. When will I find out where I am living? Housing assignments are made after the first week of July. Once you are placed in housing, you will receive an e-mail letter informing you of your assignment and your roommates name, phone number, and e-mail address. What are the rooms like? A description of the rooms may be found by clicking: May I get a room by myself? First semester freshman cannot request a single room. After first semester, transfers and freshman can ask for a housing change form after Fall break and move to a single room if space is available and permission is granted by housing and residence life. May I choose my roommate? You may request a specific roommate. Roommate requests must be listed on the bottom of the housing application and must be sent in by both roommates. Please note that the roommate requests must be mutual. When may I move into my room? The move in date for freshmen and transfer students is Thursday, August 16 th.
